This regularly scheduled meeting of the Investigative Panel of the Judicial Qualifications Commission of the State of Georgia was held at Taylor English Duma LLP in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Bob Barr chaired the meeting and Ms. Kristen Bertsch served as Recording Secretary.

Chairman’s Comments:

Chairman Barr called the meeting to order and introduced Georgia Supreme Court Justice Nels Peterson to the Panel. Justice Peterson administered an oath to the Panel’s newly appointed citizen member, Mr. Alexander Rainey.

Director Boring determined that a quorum was present. Judge Hydrick’s motion to adopt the open meeting minutes from the regular September 16, 2021 Investigative Panel meeting passed unanimously.

Director’s Reports:

Director Boring informed the Panel that the JQC Budget is on track, and he will be meeting with the Administrative Office of the Courts next week to discuss further.

Director Boring informed the Panel that the 2022 Investigative Panel Meeting Schedule has been drafted and will be circulated to the Panel members via email. Chairman Barr requested that Panel members send any conflicts in their schedules to Director Boring. The meetings will continue to take place at Taylor English Duma.

There being no further old or new business for discussion, the Open Meeting was adjourned at 9:20am. These minutes were approved by the Judicial Qualifications Commission.
